Participating in women’s basketball, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and the investment club allowed her to create treasured lifelong relationships with members of the CSP community. As a member of the basketball team, Alberts not only worked hard on the court, but also flourished in the classroom as well being one of only 17 Golden Bear athletes to receive Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction honors for her success in the classroom.
In order to prepare for her career, Alberts took advantage of CSP’s Career Development Center in order to get a head start on all things the professional world might throw her way. She said, “The Career Development Center was far and above the most valuable resource CSP offered to me. I gained knowledge on how to craft my resume for each job description and how to interview confidently.”
