Kelsey Carr

Director of Prevention and Community-Based Projects at Children and Family Services Corporation

Kelsey Carr graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul with a degree in Family Science in 2019. She works as the Director of Prevention and Community-Based Projects at Children and Family Services Corporation.

Carr’s online classes allowed her to obtain her degree while being flexible with her other commitments. “I chose CSP because I was looking for a specific degree and CSP was the only college that had the program I wanted that was conducive to my full-time schedule as an employee, mother, and wife.”

Carr’s professors offered her consistent support as she completed her degree. “The professors were a significant resource. I knew I could reach out to them anytime, with any question, and they would help me. They’re an invaluable resource to the program!”

CSP provided additional educational options to Carr that further prepared her for her dream career. “CSP appropriately prepared me for my work with families by building in the option to obtain my CFLE license in the last semester of my program. This put me ahead of other candidates in the field immediately upon graduation and I was able to easily obtain a great job in my desired field.”
