Investment Manager at U.S. Bancorp
Miguel Olvera graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul in 2015 with a B.A. in Business Management, which he now uses in his career as an Investment Manager for the U.S. Bancorp. Throughout his career, Olvera uses his accounting knowledge, industry understanding, and presentation skills to succeed.
During his time at CSP, Olvera cites his experience in the Business Department as foundational for his success both in the classroom and his career. When asked about his favorite memory of CSP he said that his Macro and Microeconomics were among his favorites, also remarking how well they prepared him for his later investment exams.
Olvera also gained invaluable skills and knowledge from his experience in the department that allowed him to have a high level understanding of the field, leading him towards a successful career in the business world. When asked about how CSP prepared him for his career Olvera said, “The presentation skills, industry knowledge, basic accounting principles.”
