Jeana Ogren has been Staff Accompanist at Concordia University since 2003. Prior to that, she was staff accompanist at Bethel University, Santa Clara University (CA) and the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music.
In the Twin Cities, she has done freelance work with singers and instrumentalists at The University of Minnesota, University of St. Thomas, Augsburg College, Hamline University, St. Catherine’s University and Macalister College. She is active as an Artist Member of Thursday Musical. Her 40-year career includes piano solo, musical theater, teaching, coaching, singing. She has accompanied everything from professional auditions to vocal quartets and has worked with artists such as Nicholas McGegan, Robert Fountain, Margaret Hawkins, and Alice Parker. Other artists include Carol Wincenc, flute, composers Libby Larsen, George Crumb and Lou Harrison, vocal coach John Wustman and singers William Warfield and Elly Ameling.
