Concordia University – St. Paul (CSP) Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) program will be reviewed for re-accreditation March 15, 16, and 17, 2021 by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The evaluation will include the following tracks for the BSN degree: RN to BSN, pre-licensure on-campus (traditional), and accelerated (ABSN).
The CCNE evaluation of CSP’s BSN is standard protocol to ensure excellence in post-secondary educational professional programs in nursing. The focus of the accreditation review is to evaluate the success of our academic program in achieving expected outcomes and to assess the extent which our programs meet CCNE accreditation standards. As one of the School of Nursing’s constituents, CCNE and CSP invite your comments on our academic programs’ qualifications for accreditation status. It is CCNE’s practice to share written comments with the evaluation team prior to the visit; however, the comments submitted by constituents are not shared with the nursing program team or university as part of the review process.
The deadline to receive comments is 21 days prior to the evaluation, or February 22, 2021.
All third-party comments submitted to the CCNE must be written in English, consistent with CCNE’s policy on Conduct of Business in English. Only author-identified (signed) comments will be accepted by CCNE.
