Information Sector Manager at MN Timberwolves and Lynx
Christopher Rogan is the Information Security Manager for the MN Timberwolves and Lynx. Rogan obtained his master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Business from CSP Global in 2019. Now, he uses the skills and knowledge gained throughout his program in what he describes as his dream job.
Rogan saw the value in earning a degree. He describes his journey to CSP as the thing that helped him step away from a job that didn’t make him happy, into a career that he dreamed of having. “There was a point, not too long ago, where I was sitting at my desk in a job I didn’t like, with seemingly no way out — then I decided to go back to school.”
As an adult learner returning to school, Rogan wanted to find a program that would accept his previous credits and accommodate his schedule as a full-time employee. When he decided it was time to finish school, CSP made the credit transfer process easy and quick. Rogan was able to finish his bachelor’s degree and move right into an MBA program. “When I was looking to transfer credits to finish my degree the process was easy and the curriculum lined up with the degree I was looking for.”
One of Rogan’s favorite memories of his time at CSP was meeting his cohort peers for the first time in person. CSP Global’s online programs make it easy to cultivate meaningful connections with faculty and peers. “I have two favorite memories; first was when we all came to campus for our final presentations. It was the first time the cohort met in person. The second was walking across the stage with my master’s degree.”
