Davina Bellinger

BA in Criminal Justice '23

Davina Bellinger is a current CSP student studying Criminal Justice and Psychology. She heard about Concordia from a high school teacher and decided to apply. CSP’s affordability was appealing to Davina and she took advantage of CSP’s scholarship opportunities to lower her cost of tuition even more.

Throughout the past few years, Bellinger has become an active student on campus. She has explored a variety of the clubs CSP has to offer and even holds leadership positions in many of the organizations she is involved in. Bellinger is the current editor-in-chief of CSP’s newspaper, The Sword. She also participates on Concordia’s Activities Board (CAB) and is a Vice President of the Criminal Justice and Sociology club. “Events on campus have helped me connect with students and faculty for the last three years I have attended at CSP.”

After graduation, Bellinger hopes to help others by working in the criminal justice field. She describes her dream job as being an FBI profiler where she can combine her interests of criminal justice with forensic mental health. “CSP is helping me reach my goals of working within my career of choice by providing resources on campus such as career development and online tutoring.” Bellinger praises the wonderful faculty in the criminal justice department for helping her expand her knowledge and help her see what career paths are open to her. “CSP set me up for student and career success.”

When asked what advice she would extend to any incoming CSP students, she shared “Attend and get involved on campus as much as possible. And do not be afraid to ask questions.” Bellinger is set to graduate in 2023 with a Criminal Justice degree and a Psychology minor.
