Franchise Owner, Anytime Fitness
“My plans are completely different than the track I thought I was supposed to be on. I know I’m meant to heal and I’ll be doing it in another capacity with my fitness center.”
Liz Hunt is a United States Air Force veteran, a certified exercise physiologist, and personal trainer. She discovered CSP on the military’s website listing the best Yellow Ribbon universities. She ultimately chose CSP because of the ease and flexibility of using her GI bill, and the resumes of the professors who would be a part of her intended track.
Hunt originally sought to expand her BA in exercise science into physical therapy and then won a veteran’s grant to open up her very own fitness center. Her time at CSP inspired her to re-calibrate her strategic plan to align herself with a program that would allow her to become a better manager and owner in the health and wellness industry.

In the military, Hunt participated in many virtual meetings, so making the decision to study online was an easy choice. “Being an online student affords so much freedom,” she explained. It was easier to manage my time and all I had to do was log on to my session.”
Liz plans to continue her path in the health and wellness industry. She is set to return to CSP to complete her MBA in Health Care Services to further advance her career and her fitness center.
