CSP Global is the 1st private university in Minnesota to offer a 90-credit 3 year bachelor’s degree. KSTP 5 Eyewitness News recently covered how CSP is leading the way for this new type of degree.

Program Details

CSP’s 90-credit 3 year bachelor’s degree prepares students to pursue careers in coaching, fitness, personal training, and rehabilitation, all while gaining a deeper understanding of exercise science and the health and fitness industries.

Within this degree, you will study nutrition, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and applied exercise prescription under the guidance of industry-experienced faculty members. You’ll have the opportunity to build your professional network by connecting with your peers and top alumni employers.

Learn how to apply knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system to assess one’s development and abilities. Students will also be able to demonstrate knowledge of the effects of physical activity on the body’s functions.

This program will launch January 12, 2026.

  • Yes. The Bachelor of Arts is accredited by the Federal Department of Education, the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, and the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).

  • A reduced credit bachelor’s degree is an undergraduate program that requires fewer total credits than a traditional bachelor’s degree. At Concordia University, St. Paul, our 3-year Bachelor’s degrees fit this category and require a minimum of 90 credits instead of the standard 120 credits.

  • Yes. With fewer credits required, students will pay less in tuition and fees to complete their 90-credit Bachelor’s degree.

  • You can transfer up to 60 previously earned credits from college coursework, associate degrees, technical programs, or military training. Your past credits never expire, so all your hard work counts toward your degree.
