Your passion for sports can be the gateway to an exciting career in sports. In CSP’s Sport Communication Bachelor of Science program, you’ll have the opportunity to build a valuable, multi-faceted skill set in communications, public relations, and sports management.
The program’s main emphasis is ensuring career preparedness, no matter the sports-related career path you choose. A well-balanced course schedule in areas such as public speaking, media relations, sports marketing, and promotions will provide you with a solid foundation for success.
Courses within the program span a vast spectrum of communication concentrations. Become a skilled communicator with a well-balanced skill set in journalism, public relations, marketing, and digital media channel management. You’ll learn useful skills such as how to run sports public relations campaigns, manage social media channels, and plan sporting events. In addition, every graduate from the program participates in a relevant internship in fields such as public relations, broadcast media, digital media, and more.
Whether your goal is to become a communications specialist for an NFL team, work in collegiate athletics as a sports information director, or become an agent representing pro athletes, this degree will equip you with the necessary tools to accomplish your goals.
