Student Support Services

Between studying for that big exam, adjusting to new settings and friends, or preparing for the next step in your life, sometimes you need a little help! Concordia has the support you need to get the most out of your college experience.

  • Your assigned Concordia academic advisor is always available to answer your questions about class registration, course selection and credit transfers. You’ll work together to ensure you stay on track to graduate.

  • Whether you need help clarifying your goals and choosing a major or preparing for that big interview, Concordia’s Office of Career Development is here to help you every step along the way. Resume writing, job search strategies, exploring career options, leveraging your degree in your current employment situation, finding internships… take advantage of our knowledgeable and connected staff!

  • The Office of Diversity Affairs serves as a springboard for meaningful dialogue, interactions, and experiences that increase the knowledge, appreciation, trust and respect for students from all cultures.

  • CSP students have access to confidential, licensed professional counseling through MidWest Center. Students can walk-in during open hours or schedule an appointment to be seen by a licensed counselor in a professional and confidential manner.

  • The Office of International Student Services provides holistic support services to international students. International Student Services is focused on assisting international students to successfully accomplish their goals.

  • The LTC offers a wealth of resources both online and on-campus, including plentiful study and collaboration space, digital research options and assistance, access to CSP’s book collections, as well as collections of numerous universities across the metro with the click of a button.

  • Student Accessibility serves students as they adjust to challenges, both inside and outside the classroom. They provide free services to all students with and without documented disabilities.

  • Tutoring is available free of charge to all Concordia students to help you achieve academic success and independence, and improve study skills. Students can also utilize Brainfuse, an online tutoring and writing lab tool.

  • CSP’s Writing Center offers help at all stages of the writing process, from brainstorming ideas, to the finishing touches on the conclusion. Our Writing Center staff are available on campus and online.
