A campus visit for students of color who are juniors or seniors in high school

Finding a college that fits who you are and prepares you for who you will be is not always an easy task. At Concordia University, St. Paul, we understand the unique challenges students of color may be facing as they make the transition from high school to college. Our Multicultural Education Achievement Day (MEAD) will help prepare you for a successful college search and great college experience.

How many students can I bring?

We would prefer 30 students max.  If you have more students, please contact Brenda at or 651-603-6275.

What is expected of chaperones?

Chaperones are expected to help keep students engaged and respectful of all guests at MEAD.

Is lunch provided?

Yes.  Please inform Brenda of any dietary restrictions.

We're arriving by bus. Where should we drop off/pick up our students?

Navigate to campus using this address: 312 Hamline Ave N, St Paul, MN 55104

Once you arrive, turn into Parking Lot B (entrance off of Hamline Avenue).

  • Students should depart the bus at the EM Pearson Theatre entrance
  • An Admissions representative will be waiting to greet your group and direct you to the Buenger Education Center for the event
We're arriving by car. Where should we park?

Complimentary parking is available in multiple places on campus. For this event, you are encouraged to park in campus parking lot B.

  • Lot B is located on Hamline Avenue, approximately 1 block south of Concordia Avenue.
  • Navigate to Lot B using the address: 350 Hamline Avenue N

Additional parking is available on the city streets (adhere to posted parking restrictions) and all additional campus lots.

Once parked, follow signage to the Buenger Education Center (BEC) for MEAD.


Registration is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmed groups will be notified by email once registration closes.
