Multicultural Education Achievement Day (MEAD) - Friday, March 11, 2016

A campus visit for students of color who are juniors or seniors in high school

Finding a college that fits who you are and prepares you for who you will be is not always an easy task. At Concordia University, St. Paul, we understand the unique challenges students of color may be facing as they make the transition from high school to college. Our Multicultural Education Achievement Day (MEAD) will help prepare you for a successful college search and great college experience.

Visit our campus, meet other students, and learn about your opportunities at Concordia University, St. Paul!

Why Participate?

During MEAD you’ll learn about:

  • College preparation
  • Types of financial aid and how to apply for it
  • Smooth transitions from high school to college
  • Support services and resources for students of color including peer mentoring, career counseling and campus ministry
  • Campus diversity
  • Clubs and organizations, events and activities for students of color
  • Making connections

You’ll also meet our Dean of Diversity and talk with Concordia University students of color about their experience as a student and how they’ve been successful at Concordia.
