BS in Finance '23
Faith Alberts is a current student working towards her Bachelors of Science degree in Finance. She will be interning at Bridgewater Bank this summer where she hopes to learn more about the banking side of finance.
Outside of her program, Alberts enjoys the small, familiar feel of Concordia’s campus and gets involved with campus activities. She participates on the Women’s Basketball team and has enjoyed her experiences as a student athlete. Alberts notes the campus atmosphere and student resources as some of the reasons she was interested in Concordia in the first place. “I decided to commit to CSP because of the successful basketball program, excellent education, and its location in the Twin Cities.”
The student resources offered on campus are important to Alberts. She advises new and current students to utilize the resources available to them as much as possible. She is also an advocate for the flexibility online classes can offer. Alberts is working towards graduating early, and thanks her counselors for helping her reach that goal.
Alberts hopes to one day be a CFO of a large company. She is excited to use her internship opportunity as a way to learn more about the different career paths available to her after graduation. “The career development office has been extremely helpful with finding internships and exploring different career paths.” She thanks CSP for the guidance and opportunities to learn more about her future industry.
