Jade Kolbo

Adjunct Faculty Member at Concordia University, St. Paul

Jade Kolbo, a double alum, returned to CSP to pursue her master’s degree in Strategic Communications Management, which she now uses in her career as an adjunct faculty member here at Concordia University, St. Paul.

Kolbo grew up with CSP as part of her family’s legacy; her grandparents met at CSP and her grandfather eventually became a pastor. As a young student, Kolbo’s school would visit Concordia St. Paul for frequent field trips.

Her experience with CSP’s academic programs has been nothing but positive. “The professors at CSP, both in my undergraduate years in the English department and my graduate years in Communications, have been the most valuable resource for me. Not only are they passionate about what they do, they also strive to help students make networking connections.”

CSP’s community helped Kolbo explore new interests, which helped her discover different career paths. “CSP helped me in my career by letting me try different things. There were some things I never thought I would be interested in doing – and trying those things made me realize I love them!”

The resources available to students made Kolbo feel supported during her time at CSP. “I always felt like I had help if I needed it, in any area. Between the accessible professors and the campus resources, I never felt out of my depth.”
