Matt Zaske majored in marketing management while studying at CSP remotely from North Carolina. Since graduating, he has been working for Bobbitt Design Build, helping them start up their marketing department and grow their business. We asked Matt about what brought him to CSP and how his experience has impacted his career path.
Q: What brought you to CSP?
A: I was referred to CSP from a past boss. I was eager to jump into the program. I continued the program and was able to be remote in North Carolina.
Q: How would you describe your CSP experience?
A: Excellent. I enjoyed the remote classes and using the online boards and programs. It is great to have the technical capabilities to graduate in another state.
Q: What has your career path been since graduating?
A: I work for an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) company called Bobbitt Design Build in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Q: Describe your current job role and responsibilities:
A: I was hired to start up the marketing department and team with the sales department to help grow the business. Our team manages the website, conferences, collateral, email marketing, and advertising.
Q: Who were some of the people at CSP that influenced you the most, and how?
A: I enjoyed working with the professors. I appreciate the time and support Christine Kudelka and Craig Lien guided me with. The leaders at CSP were incredible.
Q: What are your favorite CSP memories?
A: Spending many evenings in a row studying coursework until the early morning hours.
Q: How has your CSP education impacted your life and career?
A: CSP has given me the tools to think creatively and work as a team. Anyone that has a passion for marketing would greatly benefit from the Marketing Management program.
