Program Details

The BS in Marketing with an Emphasis in Digital starts with foundational business and marketing principles. Students learn to connect micro and macroeconomic dynamics, business fundamentals, and legal considerations with solid marketing principles and business strategy.

The emphasis on digital marketing further explores the rapidly evolving universe of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) alongside strategic principles of email marketing and social media marketing to equip students for advanced digital marketing expertise.

The program then ties traditional and digital marketing concepts with specific coursework in marketing analytics, which is essential for marketers to master and prove the value of marketing programs to their future stakeholders.

The program also offers opportunities to explore fundamentals of consumer behaviors, global marketing for multinational organizations, and offers support for potential internships with leading marketing firms in the Twin Cities area.
