Submission Information

Whether you are an established or first-time publisher, FST’s goal is to provide you with the personal attention and opportunity to make a significant contribution to the field of forensic mental health. Your submitted manuscript will be reviewed first by the associate editor team to determine if the submission meets the needs of FST. If accepted, it then will be sent out for a blind review to our peer review panel for its opinion. If the submission is deemed acceptable, FST may suggest modifications of the original manuscript or accept it as is. If you agree to make the revisions, FST will review your resubmitted changes to see if they meet the recommendations of the peer reviewers. If so, we will extend a contract to publish. Once FST has your signed contract, we can begin the processes of editing and formatting your manuscript for publication. Please know that the entire review process usually takes four months.
