Minor

Overview

Minoring in Dance at CSP involves studying dance forms' history, theory, science, and technique. Focusing on modern dance, jazz, and tap, you’ll explore dance as an art form that integrates the body, the mind, and the spirit. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in our annual dance concert, Spring into Dance, which features a variety of styles including ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, Hmong, jazz, modern, musical theatre, and tap – choreographed by faculty, alumni, and students. Focusing on both in-classroom learning and performance opportunities, each semester culminates in a student showcase featuring performances by all dance classes.
